Bates Method
The Bates method is a system of exercises designed to improve poor eyesight. Devised by Dr. William H. Bates (1860 - 1931), the exercises are based on the idea that eyesight problems are often the result of the poor functioning of muscles around the eyes. Such disorders as far and nearsightedness, astigmatism and squinting may respond to regular practice of Bates method exercises.
